Do you believe that you can acquire everything at a lower price? With a detailed understanding of how things work, you can get what you want with a bit of spending. For instance, if you understand the world of marketing, you will know why seasonal sales are popular. Hence, it is better to wait to get a product at a lower price.

You can also find ways to save on Amazon FBA shipping rates. By remembering the tips and tricks below, Amazon FBA best shipping rates within Canada and internationally are always within your reach.

You may need to pay more or less on Amazon depending on the products you are selling. With the proper understanding of the costs and how they accumulate, you’ll know the tricks on how you can put your spending to a minimum.

Tip #1: Partner with a shipping company that will handle the packing, customs fees, and brokerage needs for you.

Aside from following the Amazon guidelines, partnering with shipping companies can bring many advantages.

You will reinforce your goal to achieve Amazon FBA best shipping rates, especially for package shipping to Amazon warehouses in the US.

Stallion Express can be your shipping company partner as we have a user-friendly interface and easy transaction process that you can easily navigate without getting sweaty. Although you might think it can be a long process, as you need to input the Amazon FBA labels manually, our seamless website can help you get the hang of it. You can fulfill this by selecting the New Shipment from the left-hand toolbar OR entering the details of multiple shipments in a CSV/spreadsheet format.

With Stallion's FBA shipments, you apply Amazon Partnered shipping labels from UPS and the label generated from our website. Stallion has prepared a detailed document for you to review and analyze before proceeding.

When you are all set, follow this:

1. Using your Amazon Seller Central account, create a shipment plan to print a UPS label. You need to have a US ship from address, your unique US address. Find this by logging into your Stallion Express account > Dashboard > My US Address.

2. From your Stallion account, make a Stallion shipping label that includes the item description, weight, etc. You may complete this by clicking New Shipment from your left-hand toolbar and entering all the details manually or downloading our CSV template to upload multiple Amazon FBA shipments at once.

3. Upon completion, print your UPS label from Amazon Seller Central and print the QR code label from your Stallion account. Attach both to the outside of your shipment.

4. Drop off your package at any of our branch locations.

Your package is ready! You may check this article for further information, including the handling charges.

Tip #2: Carefully decide between individual and professional plans.

Professional and individual selling plans differentiate in expenses charged. Amazon will charge a monthly cost of USD39.99 to professional plan holders. Meanwhile, Amazon will give no charge monthly for individual accounts, but a per unit sold fee of USD0.99 will apply.

The best way to attain Amazon FBA best shipping rates is to start using an individual account if you are still beginning your business on Amazon. As you tick off the different tasks to make your business succeed, such as store optimization, launching well-strategized sponsored ads, and selling quality products every time, your listing ranking will rise.

You do not want to pay Amazon a high fee initially while your sales are still low and you are still testing the waters. Once you see that the sales numbers have stabilized, switch to a professional plan.

Tip# 3: Keep your Amazon FBA shipping rates minimum through efficient packing.

Like any other shipping service, Amazon FBA international shipping rates and even local rates base their fees on dimensions and weight. Amazon FBA has two sizes, the standard and oversize. The fees charged differ for each classification, standard size having lower rates.

You can get the Amazon FBA best shipping rates if you keep your non-apparel-containing package at least 2 lbs weight. You will only pay USD5.42 at most. If you sell clothing and items under the apparel category, ensure that your products will stand out among all other clothes. Doing so will make the most of the additional charge for apparel items.

Even more, it would be best if you made your packing efficient not only to save some dime but to ensure your item won’t be damaged in the shipping process.

Tip#4: The shorter your products are on the shelf, the higher the chance of achieving Amazon FBA best shipping rates.

The storage fee is computed per cubic foot your products occupy. The faster you sell your items, the lower the storage fees you need to pay.

The trick is to intensify your advertisement, especially when storage fees are higher from October to December. The higher the conversion rate, the less time your item stays in Amazon warehouses. You can clear out your Amazon FBA shipping rates from long-term fees.

Long-term fees are charged to items not sold after 365 days. This leeway is quite long for passionate and goal-oriented sellers. Hence, it is easy for you not to add this to the fees you need to pay. Long-term storage fees are not that high, but it is better to save every penny counts in a business.

Tip#5: Keep product returns to the minimum.

There are many reasons why customers return your goods, but Amazon classifies 14 returns reasons on their page. Some sellers argue that some reasons are not within their control. Such explanations are as follows: “no longer needed,” “wrong item sent,” “quality not adequate,” and “not useful to the intended purpose." Buyers use these reasons to say that they have changed their minds.

Nonetheless, that’s the Amazon rule. Buyers have 30 days to return their products if their reasons are within what the platform allows.

As a seller, your main goal is to ensure your product's quality and see to it that customers’ expectations are met. No defective, incomplete, or damaged items should reach your customers. On-time delivery is your priority. Offer at par or even better products in the market in terms of class and price.

Put yourself in your buyer’s shoes. If you didn’t like the product you bought, you can leave a low rating or send feedback to the seller. However, returning goods takes extra effort. Hence, customers will not replace it unless the cause is grave. Cross out whatever grave grounds customers will have and keep your returns to a minimum to maintain Amazon FBA best shipping rates.

Tip#6: Pack according to Amazon FBA guidelines.

If you wish to extend your services to Amazon Canada FBA and other International fulfillments, following Amazon’s set of guidelines would be helpful. Amazon Canada FBA shipping rates and international fulfillments are to follow the Amazon packing and preparation requirements. If not, you will be charged with "unplanned fees." Don’t forget, Stallion Express does not accept Amazon FBA Canada shipments. For these, simply print off your UPS label from Amazon Seller Central, attach it to your shipment and drop it off to UPS directly. So, the sellers can directly drop off to any UPS branches to have their shipment processed.

Unplanned fees are charged when you send packages to Amazon that are not packed according to FBA guidelines. While Amazon will repack it to fit the standards, they demand these service fees. Hence, minimize your Amazon Canada FBA shipping rates and other fees acquired for your international shipping by packing according to Amazon rules.

You can always look for a partner shipping company to assist you with your packing if you find the activity tedious and time-consuming. You can also contact Stallion’s customer support at 877-863-7477, so we can enact all these helpful Amazon FBA shipping rates saving tips with you for any inquiries and concerns related to your account, and they will gladly assist you.  You may also visit our website to know more.
