Shipments that were received by our Richmond, B.C. branch and became backlogged due to the flooding and closure of Highway 1 should begin to display tracking updates in the next few days. Note that further delays are still expected as our partners are working through current winter weather advisories and clearing the backlog.
We ask that you continue to monitor your tracking pages for the latest updates as our customer support representatives have no further information at the moment. We will continue to update this page as the situation evolves.
As the situation in British Columbia concerning inclement weather continues to evolve, there has now been a service update for our domestic shipping option – Stallion Economy Canada.
No action is required from you at this time. Effective today, when selecting Stallion Economy Canada as the postage type, prices will be higher than normal as the shipments are dropped off directly to Canada Post. This means no zone-skipping will occur to help expedite the delivery process out of B.C.
Shipments that have already been dropped off with this postage type will still be processed in the coming week(s) as per our previous zone-skipping model. At the moment, there is no estimated delivery time period provided by our carrier partners due to the backlog of shipments.
We continue to work with our carrier partners to provide you with the latest updates. Thank you for your understanding.

Shipping with Stallion Express
As of today, there are no navigational roads traveling to or from Vancouver connecting the rest of Canada. We also do not yet have a projected date for any of these major roads opening. Both major rail lines are also closed at this time. Significant delays are expected for shipments that are currently in transit towards and already moving within British Columbia.
Stallion Express will continue to accept domestic shipments destined towards BC and shipments moving within the province however significant delays and backlogs are expected to occur. Please note any shipments created and sent are at your own risk until the situation is resolved.
Since Stallion Economy CA and UPS Standard postage will be most affected, shipping using UPS Express Saver to and from BC is highly recommended because it is a premium air service, however, ground delivery might experience delays in areas that have been affected.
We acknowledge that this situation has impacted all of BC and Canada. Our thoughts and prayers go out towards residents and citizens during this difficult time.
