Great news for our Stallion clients who use Shopify as their marketplace!
You can now enable Shopify shipping rates right from your Stallion account! This feature will help your customers get a better understanding of the shipping options available to them as well as the costs associated with it.
*To activate the third-party carrier-calculated shipping, your store needs to be on the Advanced Shopify or Plus plan. If you’re on the Shopify plan or lower, then you can add this feature for a monthly fee or switch from monthly to yearly billing. For more information, contact Shopify Support.
The add-on also provides more transparency for our clients and their customers, building trust while advancing Stallion’s innovation in technology.
Kindly note that if multiple products have different weights, all of these will be added together to get a rate based on the weight for that order. You may also change the dimensions based on your packaging to get a rate.
Here are the steps on how to activate the Shopify Live Rates on your Stallion account:
Install the Stallion Express app and check whether the Install Live Rates is enabled. Click the Connect button afterwards.
Note: If your store has already been connected and you opt to activate the live rates, just remove and add it again.
Select Install unlisted app at the top right corner.
Once the Stallion Express app is finally downloaded with the rates feature activated, your Shopify customers will see all the available Stallion service couriers right away upon check out.
Optional steps:
In case you might want to limit the options your customers will see, the store administrator should go to Settings > Shipping and delivery > GENERAL SHIPPING RATES > Manage.
Stallion Protection can be enabled for live rates by switching on the Rates Protection in the Store > Import Store Settings.
*On additional rate: It may take a few attempts upon the initial loading on the settings for international rates as Shopify will send a number of requests to check all available rate options from Stallion.
