Your friendly Stallion team has prepared a recap of important news and announcements for the month of July. It’s been a busy month with new features and multiple grand openings of branch locations (including a new region!).

We’ve enabled our Shopify Live Rate feature for your customers to see the available shipping options (and rates) from our various carrier partners upon checking out. This will provide more transparency while building trust among our Stallion clients and their Shopify customers.
Our users will no longer have to estimate the shipping cost to their customers, causing them to sometimes underpay or overpay with the fees.

CA return label > change address
With the address previously set to our facility, the update will now have the Stallion client’s address from our database become the new return address.
Here are ways to create a return label from your Stallion account:
A. From the original shipment
From the Shipments tab, select the particular shipment.
Click the Other button and choose the Return Label option.
Get rates and choose the label you want.
Pay and print.
B. From the Returns tab
Go to the Returns tab and click Return Label.
Fill out the package details to get rates.
Select the postage and complete your purchase.
Note: You still have the option to change the return address but having the returns sent to your facility will eliminate the return processing fee from being charged to your account.
Stallion Supplies Update
Through our clients’ feedback, we’re now granting the request for the automation items of supplies through reordering and duplication. This can make transactions smoother when ordering supplies.
To fulfill this, follow the steps below:
Go to Supplies tab > Select View My Orders > Choose the particular order you prefer > Click Duplicate.
Since last year, Stallion Express has been affected by USPS’ 10-year sustainability initiative, marking its 2nd annual price increase this month.
This paved way for the rate surge to take effect last July 10 for USPS services, mainly for First Class Mail (with 6.5% average increase) and Media Mail (with 8.9% average increase); and July 17 for Stallion U.S. Returns from $3.99 to $4.99.
The team assures that no action is expected from clients as this automatically reflects on our system upon using our service.
Last July 26, we updated our Stallion Protection Terms & Conditions to give you better peace of mind while shipping.
Some noticeable changes include an update from 45 days to 30 days from the last tracking update on International shipments and the removal of the 90-day claim deadline.
Thick envelope shipments update
The latest update now requires shipment dimensions to be entered. Otherwise, the dimensions are set to 5x5x5. This is to ensure accurate pricing and prevent insufficient postage charges.
Also, inputting dimensions is optional for shipments under 1lb.
