As an eCommerce seller, you must know that nothing is guaranteed for your shipments as bumps may occur along the way. Getting complete shipment coverage is essential for the packages to arrive safely upon making their way to your customers’ hands.
Having been partnered with multiple shipping services, your packages travel through different carriers, even some making their way into the facilities. That’s why we would like to provide solutions for a more efficient shipping experience.
Here’s where the Stallion Protection add-oncomes in – it serves as coverage that comes with flat-rate pricing to stay fully secured in unforeseen circumstances. The maximum value limit declared can be up to $300 CAD for shipments across all services with a turnaround time of 3 to 5 business days for all claims.
For both Canadianand U.S. shipping services, Stallion Protection would cost $0.39 for the first $100 of the declared value,then $1.49 for every extra $100 or once it exceeds the initial $100 of the insurance. This is the lowest cost available in the market for shipment protection!
Meanwhile, the rate will cost $3.37 for the declared price of $300.
For International shipping, it could go as low as $0.99 for the initial $100 of the declared amount; and $1.49 for each additional $100 or when it goes beyond the first $100 threshold.
Consider the low-cost and easy process for filing claims with Stallion Protection. Just a few clicks to provide reasoning and photos if applicable for shipment damage, then the amount is credited to your account.
Shipment without Stallion Protection will not be eligible for a claim in the event that a shipment is either lost in transit or damaged. We strongly recommend adding Stallion Protection to all your shipments due to the nature of the shipping industry. Packages travel through many facilities and hands before being delivered to the intended recipient.
From 30 days, the loss shipment claims eligibility for both Canada and U.S. has been shortened to 21 days from the last tracking event.
Since the waiting period has been removed, you can now file a claim immediately for lost and damaged shipments after receiving your package.
Claims must be filed no longer than the given 90-day period from being received by Stallion Express.
We recommend enabling Stallion Protection in your account, by following these quick steps:
1. From your Stallion dashboard, go to your profile icon > click 'Settings' from the drop-down menu.
2. Once done, select the 'New Shipments' tab found below.
3. Switch the slide button under the 'Stallion Protection Enabled' > click the Update button to save changes.
